Death of my hometown, what?!
Columbia natives of Death Of Paris are not just yet another female singer band. If they create sounds recalling the voice of Gwen Stefani or Hayley Williams, they are totally aware of it, as they are showing it on their Facebook page! The first years of the band were tough. Starting with only two members, and a self-titled debut album, they are now four, giving awesome electro-pop songs, with synths you can really... feel. Their debut album allowed the four-pieces band to travel across the United States, from North to South, West to East and back, with shows in basements, festivals, coffee-shops... In short, wherever they got the chance to play, in aim to create a link with their audience, and make them known. After being a part of three tours in only two years, the band took a break... to write their next EP.
In September 2013, the band went to Atlanta to record what would become the EP entitled “Gossip”. An EP produced and mixed by none but Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount who worked with We Are The In Crowd, Mayday Parade, or even All Time Low. Columbian band is not joking. The following month, the record was done, with the pop characteristic of the unsigned band, and the experience of famous and known producers. And I think I'm going to stop the Coverage now, and let you listen to Gossip.
